Although an A-body mine was cut as well. A B-body 4-speed was used in the car and my FIL cut it to fit the trans for whatever reason. I found a cross member and we cut and welded the missing piece back in.

Thanks @fasjac My FIL raced it in the early 70's. It was put away for 50 years until he passed away in February 2023 and then I got it. Everything in the engine was redone and it is being put back together now.................
