    Hey There from Maryland.

Is that what I'm having ? .. ..just seems like too many other things eating up my time, like fishin', dirt bikin', the House and Yard, etc., etc. Tired of all the parts for the 70 hogging up my garage space..PLUS there's really NO excuse for leaving this car apart this long. It's turning into a...

70 steering column, two part question.

That is a Great video. I'm ready to paint my column parts today since the wind has died down. I removed the inner lock-out column and shortened the main column only about a 1/2 " and fitted a ER16 bearing for a lower shaft support. I'm havin' fun going through all this stuff. My son doesn't...

    Hey There from Maryland.

I've had the '70 Challenger since 1983 and the '69 Road Runner since '93 ( It took me 6 years to get that thing on the road and it's been my play toy ever since while the 70 just sits in the garage torn apart )

70 steering column, two part question.

Nope....no rack, just a manual box that I put in years ago when I got rid of the power steering. . Just want to clean up the column. Removed the lock out tube today and shortened the column a smidge and fitted the ER16 bearing. That video from cudacody on you tube kind of reinforced everything...

The Challenger is / was a '70 special edition 383 and I'm the 3rd owner of it .... but , and hope you're all...

    Hey There from Maryland.

Just need to start working on my Challenger I've had apart since the 1992 Hot Rod Super Nationals . Been playin' with a 69 Road Runner for the last 26 years. Hopefully I'll get information and inspiration from this site. .

70 steering column, two part question.

Nice drawing. I'm in the same boat with my column ripped apart on the work bench right now. There is no lower shaft support so I'm gonna use a ER16 flange bearing after I trim the column tube down a bit lengthwise--- but that reverse lockout tube is in the way AND I don't need it. You sure...
