    Thanks again everyone for the assistance. I just finished the swap and everything went great except that retainer clip is on the side of the tail housing on the unit I was replacing. It was tight but I got it. Also on the reinstall that park pawl was a pain.

    Yes! That’s exactly what I’m talking about. Ok, so a correct tail shaft housing which has those two holes and then I’m good to go.
