    E Body - Mopar cars you have - HAD 1960s - 1970s

If talking MOPARs, I have had several. My very first car that I owned myself was a 1973 Plymouth Duster. Original 318 car but it was swapped with a 340 4 bbl. Also owned a 1977 Dodge Aspen R/T Manual 3 spd with OD. I have also owned 4 Jeeps. For E-bodies, I currently have 3 1970 Barracudas...

What the F is going on here?

Almost seems like the bumper shape does not match the car shape. The bumper and brackets came off another barracuda, possibly a 71? The bumpers had the same slots but the should be the same. If I move the bracket back the center will be too close. Nothing seems to go smoothly on these cars. You...

What the F is going on here?

Sorry to seem stupid but what is in the wrong hole? The bracket or the bumper? Seems if I move something the alignment will still be off. I have a video but can’t upload to here.

What the F is going on here?

Why is there such a large gap? Just got the bumper back from the chrome shop. Tight in the center but wide on the ends.

    Ring gear size

The flex plate balances the crank so I am getting a neutral balance converter. The engine was balanced using the flex plate. Thanks for the info. I am using a 904 because that is what I have. Originally had a 318.

    Ring gear size

I need to get a new torque converter for a 904 transmission. It is bolting to a 72 340 motor with a cast crank and B&M flex plate. Looking at the specs for a 904 vs. a 727 it shows the ring gear tooth count is different and one is narrow and one is wide. 904 - 122 tooth narrow 727 - 130 tooth...

Did you purchase the H pipe or X pipe version? I am looking at this for my 70 340 Barracuda. Wondering which is better.

    T/A HEADS AND ROCKERS!?

Looks like you have one J head and one U head. From what I have read the all have the 915 casting number and most likely the 1.88 intake valve size.

No. It will be the 71 340 manifolds. Thanks for the info.

Do i want OEM exhaust manifolds?

Sort of related question: I am replacing the 318 in my 70 Gran Coupe with a 340. I have manifolds from 71. Are there any issues with fit in my 70? I also have a firm feel power steering box. Will be dropping it in in the next week or so. Probably go with a TTI setup. Thanks

    Bumper bolts

I have seem lots of stainless bumper bolts for sale for my 70 Barracuda that are 3/8" x 16, but I have heard that the "proper" bolt is a "7/16" x 14. Tried to find details in the parts manual but no luck. Can someone enlighten me as to what is correct?

    AAR 3x2 setup question

So unless you do the porting it won't make a difference is what I am hearing.....probably the way I will go since it is not numbers matching and T/A stuff is outrageously priced.
