    After 44 years..

My 71 Cuda has gone to a new home. I haven’t driven it much since I finished my hemi Belvedere. The car was not actively for sale but word of mouth brought an interested individual to my attention. After a year of discussion, the Cuda was loaded up and is on its way. Was a sad day for me but...

    3" leaf spring relocation kit

Dr. Diff kit will move the springs in about 1". You will likely need to narrow the e-body diff to fit those wheels. Do lots of mock-ups and measuring.

    3" leaf spring relocation kit

Dr. Diff kit, no mini tub, 295/65-15 drag radial (30" tall). IMO, 3" relocation is a waste of time if not mini tubbed since wheel well size will control tire size not spring placement. Do lots of measuring.

    Cleaning Glass

I have found that gentle use of fine steel wool will remove built up scum on glass.

Going to a Swap meet- Where do I measure Diff lengths

Not certain on exact years, but Dana 60 came in many 80s and 90s 3/4 ton dodge trucks and vans. A truck Dana will be wider than a car unit, so you can narrow it to fit your application. Tubes stay in but the ends get cut off and replaced with new ends. Truck/van units typically do not have a...

Going to a Swap meet- Where do I measure Diff lengths

John, I have found that every car is different. I did lots of measuring and test fitting before anything was finalized. I used hemi style springs with 1" over from ESPO, and they are offset inboard 1". I ran string lines and plumb bobs to make sure things would not hit the quarter panel. I...

Going to a Swap meet- Where do I measure Diff lengths

I used a stock e-body width Dana from Dr. Diff. Springs offset. Custom backspace steel wheels. 295/65 tires. Everything fits snug with no rubbing. 8.75 will work until you get traction, then you may have problems. The Dana was marginally more expensive than a reinforced 8.75, so I went that way.

    Complete Dash Re-assembly

I reassembled mine, including the dash pad, on the bench and then installed as a unit. Then reconnect electrical, heater cables, etc. and you are done (but easier said than done). Windshield will add a challenge. Instrument cluster can be removed without pulling dash. So that is how a fuel...

Have a question on Rear Diff

Stock e-body width dana 60, 1" offset springs, 295/65-15 tires, custom BS 8" wide cop rims. Lots of measuring to get everything to fit with no rubbing.

Looking for recommendations for fuel and brake lines

I got mine from Inline also. Just a note, if you need to cut the ss brake line to install a proportioning valve, flaring the ss tubing is a major pain.

    71 Challenger Resto

I went with a K&N air filter assembly with 1 3/4" drop base to get the needed clearance under my stock Cuda hood. I have an Edelbrock Performer RPM manifold. Still snug under the hood. I think a Challenger hood may have a bit more clearance. K&N X-Stream Airflow Assemblies 66-3040

70 barracuda interior? Leather or vynl? I plan on keeping the car

Note that factory leather seats only had leather inserts (the top part of the seat where you sit), the remainder of the seat cover is vinyl. When I had my seats refurbished, we just changed the worn leather insert and were able to save the original vinyl sides.
