Russ would be right:D
How's it doing Russ?
Anyway,pic taken yesterday.
Me on the right and a mate known as DaveDart on the left.
Typical Aussie yobbos:p
New oils DON'T have enough zinc unless it's a specialty oil for older engines.
I use diesel oil in mine.
For a new cam use proper breakin compound and use a ZDDP package in the first sumpfull of oil.
The wheel well trims on my challenger came from yearone.
3 fit fine.
In the 4th one the holes were drilled in the wrong places so I just redrilled the fender lip to suit the trim.
Hey,welcome Martin.
Australia is VERY shortly applying similar restrictions to imports.
If they don't meet the criteria they won't even be allowed to come into the country!!!
Wankers.
Anyway,I've got a green one too!!!
I've got a 440 with Edelbrock Performer RPM and 750 vac Holley on mine and ran into clearance issues with the rallye hood.
I had one of those black crinkle finish MoparPerformance aircleaners to match the rocker covers but it wouldn't fit.
As a temporary measure I just bought a cheap 2" drop...
Momentus occasion!!!!
Today, for the first time in abt 4 1/2 years.......it moved under it's own power
Not far though.
Still no steering column in it yet.
But far enough to lay 2 black lines
Apparently quality control(or lack thereof) on the original building of the K-frame.
TTI gives dimensions from each frame rail and top of the Kframe to where the crank centreline SHOULD be.
Apparently some are OK.Some are not.Mine fell into the latter category.
Solution is to smim,slot...
Just installed new 440 in my challenger this morning.
The pipes are TTI 1 7/8" primaries.
The fit on the driver's side appears fine.
The RHS however is very close to the inner guard.
It looks like if I could move the engine to the left about 1/4" the fit would be OK.
Now what i want to know is...
