    73 Cuda Project

    Right now it is a 73 Barracuda originally Glacier Blue with 318/904 combo. In the coming months it will be 360/727, gloss black with AAR inspired matte black stripes. Of the five I have owned, this is by far the best preserved. I will post more pictures as we progress.

    Trunk Lid and Hinges Question - 70-74 Cuda

    That's what I have been reading too, but I am still perplexed. The old deck lid sat level while down but not closed, the new sits with the right side noticeably higher than the left side. When we put the old one back on, it now sits the same as the new one. Only thing that could have changed...

    Trunk Lid and Hinges Question - 70-74 Cuda

    With the trunk lid off, should both hinges have tension on them? Meaning, one has tension on it from the torsion rod, and the other is loose with no tension. If someone wouldn't mind posting a picture of the left and right hinge setup, I would appreciate it. My son, who is a bit of an ape...

    I have owned this car for well over 20 years, and used to be my daily driver. I had it before I had my three sons, and used to take them for rides to put them to sleep at night. Fast forward 16 years and my middle son has taken an interest in restoring, so here we go!
