Sorry, the cluster hasn’t been installed in the car yet but I am pretty sure there are videos of a VHX cluster working on YouTube, all the gauges use stepper motor technology so they react really fast!

The male spade terminal on the tach should go to the negative side of the coil and the stud terminal should get a 12 volt switched power. The case is ground. These tachs typically will not work with aftermaket ignition systems like MSD or even Mopar Performance and if they do work they dont work...
