Ok so I'd like to upgrade my 440 in my 73 barracuda,I'm thinking of building a 426 hemi but hemi parts are hard to come across in aus,or putting stage v heads on a 440??also if any1 knows what else is needed for the conversion,any info and opinions would be great. Thanks regards Matt

Sorry my first post was a mistake I ment rockers were worn and loose on the shaft!!

Thanx, the rockers are warn and making a chattering noise at about 40-50mph.the motor is suppose to be fresh but they must have put the old rockers on otherwise the engine runs really well.so I'll buy some stock ratio rollers to replace them.

Hi I need to replace my rockers and I don't know the lift ratio due to my rockers been very worn!! I have a mopar purple cam not sure the specs! Does any 1 know the stock lift ratio?? Thanx

Ok then,the diff in my car is a 489 case with a 323 posi bit it's single wheeling,the yoke appears to be small maybe it's a 318 diff?? Is there a difference?? And the uni's appear small as well.I might build a 3.5 posi if I keep that diff, oh and the driveline is a rebuilt mild 440 with a 727...
