I got a 6.1 swap kit that had rad hoses with it. They won’t seal. Tried all the usual tricks. What hoses are you guys using? Both upper and lower are on pass side with a griffin rad.
Thats not a ram truck motor. The intake on the truck is taller and the throttle body points toward the pass side. I did a swap with a truck 6.4 in a B body and had to learn the hard way.
I forgot about starting this build post. Had to scramble to find allot of the parts but it goes to show almost anything can be built. I wouldn’t recommend trying something like this without a frame jig. I got the car finished a few years ago.

Just taken apart for rebuild. Bering retainer c97621 tail housing c-88568. No stripped threads or damage. Vin on pad is 0a118280, the rest is rp8332944. 0178. Could be reassembled and run Asis. Pm for pics if serious. Can ship in two boxes. Located in Nova Scotia but travel to Maine sometimes...
Have a 833 that I am trying to decode. Has ball detent side cover, 27 inches OAL with dual shifter mounting pads. Raised pad has vin OA118280 and trans number PP8332944 0178. Does this decode as Oct 21 1974??
