It idles fine sometimes then other times it idles fast but also sometimes if I tap the foot feed it will idle down and sometimes I have to let out on the clutch a little to pull the motor down to idle then it will stay at the correct idle rpm.
The problem I am having is that when I get the car started and warmed up sometimes it wants to idle at 1500 rpm then other times it idles at 1000. I am thinking that it might be idling off of the fast idle cam. It is hard to see the fast idle screw to know if the cam is all the way off of that...

Just an update on our son and cuda. Our son just recieved a double lung transplant September 4th and everything looks good. He is able to walk a 1000 feet without loosing his breath. As for as the Cuda we are down to the finish line on it. We have the headliner to install and the side windows...
The car starts great and idles good but after driving for 30 minutes the car won't idle down. It wants to idle at 1800 rpm. After the car cools down and restarted it is back to regular idle. Any ideas?

The one I started with is wider then the track. I cannot get it too slide due to the seal being wider and thicker then the track. It wants to buckle up in the middle.
