    Steering wheel

Have steering column pulled to rebuild. Does the horn button/cap just pry off? Sounds stupid but I don't want to break it.

    Exhaust sound

Been working 12 hrs. a day this week. Not much time for forum. Maybe I can use the Accurate mufflers and resonators. I'll be using this Cuda for 200-300 mile trips occasionally. Going to buy a nice sounds system for the wife. Probably be upset if she couldn't hear it. Personally the sound of a...

    Exhaust sound

I have headers with 3" collectors. Also my rear valance doesn't have the openings for the exhaust. Do you think the Accurate system would work for my car?

    Exhaust sound

Since I have a 383, I'll go with a 2 1/2" system. If I had a 440 or larger I would go with 3". Were the resonators put on to quiet the exhaust more than just mufflers?

    Exhaust sound

Anyone have any thoughts on what exhaust/mufflers would sound very close to factory exhaust for an E body? I can remember the sound of some of the muscle cars back in the day but not a Cuda. I kinda remember a factory Road Runner/383. I don't want anything real loud but I want it to sound like a...

    add a leaf spring

I agree. Shorter leaves above longer ones will break leaf springs

    add a leaf spring

Seems like shock extenders or air shocks would cause the same damage to upper shock mounts. I checked my mounts after removing air shocks and B4 installing the QA1's and fortunately mine were'nt damaged. Unfortuntely I won't ever have to worry about numbers matching parts as I do not have either...

    add a leaf spring

Recently I wanted to get rid of my air shocks. I found some modified leaf springs in Year One's catalog. They are made by Eaton. You can buy them in 1/2" increments from 2" lower to 2" higher. Added neoprene shackle and spring bushings at the same time. I am pleased with the product and the results.

    Aluminum flywheel

Has anyone on this forum had any experience running an aluminum flywheel on the street? I assume my 383 will rev quicker but wondered about drivability? I've heard accelerating from a stop is different. Pro's and cons?

New gas tank, leaf springs QA1 shocks, and shackles

Ramenth, Thanks for your patience. I have to admit I got a little excited when the 1st pic actually posted. Working 12 hours/day the next 2 days but I may try to start a thread this weekend. If I get stuck I will certainly ask for help. (If I can figure out how to message a fellow member.) Thank...

Thanks guys for the excellent advice. You never want to underestimate my ignorance on computers. lol Last night was the 1st time I've ever successfully loaded pics on a website. I figured out how to add text with the pics and started posting text and pics just for the practice. Can you say...
