    Overspray on TA HOOD

Years back, before the EPA/DNR made general public paint reformulation mandatory into the water-based crap they have now, Krylon had a great semi-flat black aerosol can paint. Matched organosol perfectly. Since it became discontinued, Krylon has sneakily made the same product but under a...

    Overspray on TA HOOD

Nowadays, most paints are water-based, and many mild solvents will remove the paint. But gasoline will even attack the organosol. I always start with the least aggressive chemical I can find. Something like de-natured alcohol. If nothing happens, then try naphtha. Then, if nothing happens...

    Touch up paint pen source

I go to a good auto paint supplier and my Dupont supplier has these small 3-4oz. touchup paint bottles with shaker ball and brush inside. They'll make me ANY color I can find in a color chart book. The paint is single stage and lasts about 2 years in the bottle. Costs about $20 and is real paint.

BAD C-PILLAR MOPAR ROOF WELDING - fixing it right?

The left side looks worse than the right side. In fact, the right side looks like it is shallow.

BAD C-PILLAR MOPAR ROOF WELDING - fixing it right?

Any ideas what that would cost to fix the weld/rust and put on a vinyl roof?

BAD C-PILLAR MOPAR ROOF WELDING - fixing it right?

We all know Chrysler had sloppy welds on their C-pillar roof joints and tried to cover it up, or lessen the obvious, by putting on a vinyl roof. I guess "because it was original" but it baffles me that someone would restore a car and make it pristine and like show-room new in every way and then...

Anyone ever seen a Chally rear spoiler with luggage rack?

Anyone ever seen a factory '70-74 Challenger rear T/A (ducktail) spoiler on the same car with a luggage rack? It looks like it might fit, but just wondering if the factory ever did it. I'm sure a dealer or owner installed has happened before. Just wondering. Pics if you have one please.

Does anyone ever make their twin bulge hoods functional?

Just yesterday, I saw a black AAR hood (functional repro) on FB Marketplace?? maybe, or FB Ebodies. Looked nice and ready to go. I can't find it now.

Does anyone ever make their twin bulge hoods functional?

Keep or sell the OEM hood, and buy a fiberglas AAR or twinbulge repro hood. Dont' chop up something OEM that is only getting harder to find when someone else might be looking for your style hood. Buy a replacement new hood and have at it.
