Have to agree 100% with MoparCarGuy. Upgrade and upsize (if necessary) the fuel delivery system and use the correct ignition (distributor, box, coil) with your EFI. We opted for the Sniper (throttle Body not multi port) for our 2nd Gen 426 Hemi and haven't had any issues with the computer.
I also use the mid nineties Dakota starter with no issues. I have one on a 426 crate, a 318 and a 383. Not sure why you would need a hi torque unless you are spinning at hi compression.
Well done. I had a gent get in touch with me in Alberta from Florida awhile back after I was advertising for the build sheet for one of our cudas. To find a motor is all the more sweeter. Now if I could only find the original build sheet for our '69 Dart GTS.
Right or wrong back in 2010 we paid $35US for a 318/904 Gran Coupe 'vert southwest driver car. Can't comment on what it would be worth today in the same condition in was when we acquired it.
Nice find. Assuming you found it in TX and it has lived most of its life there you should have a pretty solid car. We own a 70 Barracuda Grand Coupe convertible that was sold new in Waxahachie, TX which I believe is 3 hours north of Tomball. The convertible had a rocker repair in the sheet metal...
I vote option 3 as I also live in Alberta and just replaced my mechanical pump and carb with the Holley EFI system on my 70 cuda and it left me wondering why I didn't do it years ago
I have a SB '70 cuda with a shaker hood and the Sanden compressor and fits fine. If memory serves me correct I purchased the mounting brackets from Bouchillon Performance Engineering.
Do you have the correct rad? Has it been located correctly with no previous mods by someone else..........say like for an aftermarket cooler? Just trying to rule everything out if the motor and tranny mounts are correct.

When looking at these cars pay attention to the frame rails underneath and be comfortable with the integrity of them. Rust no undercoating and neglect is a killer. Quoting my father, "A pig with lipstick is still a pig."

That is so cool. I'm one of those fellas that have my codes recorded on the E Series 1969 sheet and unfortunately I'm confused as to where to insert my code info on your example sheet. Have you since built one of these E Series 1969 decoding sheets?
Thx
