Hello All,
I've got a set of 15x8 Mopar Ralley wheels off my 70 RT Challenger. They have the center caps and rings. I want to sell them, but have no clue what to ask. Before I put them in the "for sale" forum, anybody got a reasonable asking price suggestion?
Hey Man. I love the car! Beautiful! I've got a 70 RT FC7 383 car. I have the rally wheels on it now, but I love the look of those magnums you have. Can you tell me the rim size and backspacing, along with the tire size on your car?
This is the stance and "look" I'm after. I would be very...
That Sir is good advice. I can always put the rally wheels on a shelf. Maybe my taste will change. I sure wish more guys would post some pictures on this chat, with this rim, tire sizes and spacing. I sure as heck don't want to cut any metal on an original 70 RT. No offense to the guys with...
Dang. I guess it comes down to personal preference. My car doesn't have a build sheet. I don't recall when decoding it whether the Ralley wheels were part of fender tag. If I recall, it only declares the wheel type on the build sheet. I'd check myself but the car is 1 hour away getting a...
Hey guys, Here is my 70 RT Challenger with stock wheels. I'm looking to change these out. I'm a bigger fan of the Magnums personally. Anyone local got a good set to trade? In Wisconsin.
Ah hah! Thank you. I don't think I'll be putting these back on if I keep the car. I don't hate the look.....I just think it looks a bit too busy with the moldings. Looks like just adhesive holds them on anyway. Thanks for your efforts on this, I appreciate it.
OK. I got some stainless moldings with the car.....and wasn't sure what the heck they were for. It sound now like they do belong on this car to put it back factory correct. Also. On the steering wheel and stuff. If I don't sell the car, I'll work with you on these parts. Problem is now, if...

I bought this car with the intentions of completing the restoration. The reality is, I'm never going to have the time to complete it. I will entertain trades, and have the ability to bring cash to the table for an up-trade on the right Mopar that's done/near done.

Thank you Sir. That's a nice stance. All bets may be off for me looking for rims. I just found out I have finally got the chance to buy a 69 RT Charger locally. It's going to take some serious consideration, but I may have to sell my Barracuda to swing the charger......Hmmmm.
Yeah. I think the General Lee was the start of my Mopar obsession. Back in the day, I watched the "Dukes" every Friday on my dad's lap. Now....many years later, my kids are watching the same shows on DVD. I've had that car 16 years. My 69 Charger is like a member of the family now...
I'm enjoying driving it the way it is. I've put a ton of time into getting it running, flushing all the fluids and am now getting to cruise it around the block.....between rain, snow (and the salt that comes after) etc. in the Wisconsin Spring weather.
I'm trying to establish a game plan...
That is great advice. I can make the car what I want.....and keep the stock parts if I want to go back to original. Anybody out there put a 4 barrel, intake and dual exhaust on a stock 290HP 383 two barrel??? Results???
