    Congrats on your new ride! Don't be afraid of the carb, they work well. I will give you my 2 cents...If you are not concerned about your return on the investment and only care about having this particular car but with a different drivetrain, then I say go for it. Sounds like you can drive it...

    Looks like the initial question was asked some time ago, but my take on this is that 11's won't happen with this combo. The gear ratio is fine, converter should be more like 3500, and it needs sticky tires like slicks or Mickey Thompson drag radials. Even with those changes, honestly I think...

    It has a 505 with comp hydraulic cam and stock stealth heads. Gonna upgrade to trick flows heads soon. It's got a 4 speed and 3.55's out back.
