Hey folks, just a quick update, since my car wont go to paint anytime soon, I am trying to restore the rust filled metal items. Shoot man, this car was 10 times worse than i could have imagined. Here is some of the parts old restored and some new stuff to go with with the 5.7 and NAG1 trans. Also stocking up on all the little stuff new lie seals and fastners.

Got the Cuda's 2018 5.7 HEMI heart beat 29K miles and 5 Speed AT delivered to the house today. Can't wait to test fit it into the car before I start on the body work, metal work is moving forward.
Have to cut the Trans tunnel as previous owner just welded in a new 4 Speed tunnel...... ( hope I can save it )
i need to gather more information for suspension upgrades? Recommendations for this restomod?
I Have the original 8 3/4 diff, as I did not plan on replacing so I ask, feedback how will hold up under a 5.7 ?
I've have a 5.7 Hemi with the 6.4 cam in it in my Barracuda with an 8.75 rear since 2010. I've hammered on it quite a bit and it has held up just fine, no problems at all.

Ok, broke my heart to cut out the 4 speed trans tunnel and crossmember to make room for the 8 speed but the deed is done! Also pulled the rear leafs and fabricated a set of casters to push it around.

Update today, did the test fit of the 5.7 and 8 speed AT. Went in quite easily. Waiting on the trans mount from USCartool, Will be here this week.
About 3 more weeks until I get the wire harness and PCM from Hot-WIre Auto. Then will try and fire this mother up! pull it back out then send it off for .body and paint. Getting closer quickly Actually has been simple compared to rebuilding my 440 in my 70 Challenger.

Hey folks, not a lot of progress. lately, I did rebuild the 8-3/4 rear end, put a posi, as well as a new (323) ring and pinion. Hotchkis springs. and subframe connectors. I am hoping 323 this isn't too high for the Automatic 8 speed transmission. I hear that 273 gears are recommended with this setup. Anyone have experience with the gear. ratio?

Hello everyone, I finally got the Barracuda to a place where my skills no longer prove to be advantageous. Off to the body and paint I hope it take 3 months to get her ready with engine bay, trunk and interior painted with color B7 color I will take it back and install the drive line, then back to exterior paint, if all goes well should have it back by thanksgiving.

Ok received my piece of ARTwork from TTI Exhaust today. I am amazed how. nice these headers are and how great they fit. I did not have to do ANYTHING. to them.

I am excited to have the 3 inch collectors as the MAGNA Flow exhaust should sound awesome. Engine is finally ready to install, remote oil filter and. AN-6 trans lines done. Let me know your thoughts folks.
