Picked up a set of original front markers in decent shape as the car never had any when I bought it. Took them apart today and cleaned them up the lenses turned out really nice and put in some new bulbs. Surprised at the outcome for a 42 year old part.

Nice work, way to recycle! I try to use oem or nos parts whenever I can, nothing fits or looks better then originals.

One of them had some pitting on the inside which I sanded down. Should I leave it like that or seal it where it touches the fender?

It wouldn't be a bad thing to seal it somehow, either clear coat it or keep it coated with straight carnuba wax. Can we see the rest of the car?
