Hi all. Hopefully someone can help me with this. I am restoring a 1970 Challenger that was missing some parts when I purchased it. I was looking at an electrical diagram that shows a Time Delay Relay installed for the AC system that also plugs into the vacuum operation of the AC/Heater box. The new AC wiring harness I purchased from Classic Industries does not have the wires or plugs for the relay. I also can't see where this installs on the vehicle. My understanding is the relay was used to cycle the AC on and off when the defroster was in use to work as a dehumidifier. I have also heard that 1970 vehicles and newer just had the AC on all the time when the defroster was used so the time delay relay was no longer needed. I can easily run the wires for the relay if it is needed but I'm not sure it is. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
