I took apart the interior in my challenger and it has the factory sound deadner which breaks easily when bent. I want to make it so the car is really quiet inside and comfortable to drive. Also the insulation behind the rear seat doesn't really help and want to put something there so it covers up the whole opening to the trunk. What are some things I can do to just make it more comfortable and quiet also it will help the sound system. My goal is to make it a more modern feeling.

I just recently got a huge roll of that reflective bubble wrap insulation for an ac/duct job I am doing and will have plenty left over. I was thinking of using this stuff on the roof when I replace the headliner. I am also considering using it on the floor of my Cuda as well.
I took a chunk of this stuff and placed a piece of cheap carpet on top of it and walked on it over a concrete floor and the air bubbles didn`t pop. My only concern is if this stuff has a crunchy sound inside my car since it does have a foil face on it. I know it will reflect the heat well but as far as sound goes probably not so much.
Anyone else ever try this stuff on their car? I think the brand name is astro-foil or astro-shield the roll is at the jobsite right now and not in front of me.

I used 'Second Skin' out of AZ and it's GREAT! Have it throughout my 73 Challenger. I used a combo of their damplifier and lux liner and although the car is not driven with it yet, I know it's gonna be super effective! Did a BUNCH OF RESEARCH and customer inquiries with folks using this stuff AND other brands. This one topped my list, for sure!
Ken is the owner and he is SUPER helpful, too! Somewhat expensive BUT I only want to do this ONCE and other brands were a lot of $$$, too! I'm glad I made the investment.
This is VERY DURABLE STUFF! I went directly thru Ken, the owner, although there is a dealer network out there, too. Scott in MI.
