1970 Cuda Convertible tribute. 440 6-pack, 4 speed with pistol grip shifter, painted plum crazy purple, mint condition interior with 150mph speedometer, 8,000 rpm tach, 3 speaker dash, even the clock works. Power disc brakes, power steering, new power top, car is essentially mint condition. Theres a small paint blemish on the passenger door from where brake fluid spilled on it in the garage, but that is it and I can’t get it to show in pictures.
This car has been in the family since 1991. We’ve decided to sell it because we want a newer sports car now. There is no fender tag, but we believe it was originally a 6 cyl Barracuda 3 speed manual. It was bought out of Alabama and underwent a frame off rotisserie restoration in 2009. A big block donor car was used so it has bigger torsion bars, radiator, etc.
I also have the wheel well trim, rocker moldings, wiper arms, and a retro-style aftermarket radio that goes with it.
Local dealer wants to consign it for $100k. I’d rather try to sell directly to someone who will love the car like we have. We’re asking $70k and are pretty firm there.
