Hi!

I recently got someone to install a vynil top & loover on my 1970 CUDA. I'm not verry happy with the instalation of the vynil top. I has several areas with air buble. I'm told to insert and remove a small needle - remove it - press downard with a plastic card to make the air go out. I tried this and not too much success. My next steps are:
1) use an air dryer to warm up the vynil and then use the plastic cart do push the air out.
2) use a seringue with glue in it to push it inside the buble and then press the buble downard to make it glue to the roof.

PLEASE GIVE ANY OTHER BETTER SUGGESTION AS THAT SITUATION BODERS ME A LOT.

THANKS!

You may need to install another (new) top to fix this. This issue should be resolved by the original installer.

While you may be able to rescue this top, we do not know if the adhesive inside the air bubble(s) is still sticky. If recently installed, then using a needle to evacuate the air may still work. but the air does not appear out of nowhere. It may have been there from the original install.

let us know how things proceed. we have many opinions, but we do not have to feel the pain and heartache you may be feeling with bubbles in your vinyl top.
