1970 CUDA tach restoration

Hi!

My tach in my 1970 CUDA does not work. I'm considering buying the following:

1) 67-74 M5 Tachometer repair kit at $ 98.
or
2) 67-74 M4 Tachometer repair kit for $ 75.
abd
3) Limiter IVR 3 at $ 60

Anyone have comments reegarding this plan - will it resolve my issue?

I tried to contact the co. at 1-479-756-2757 and this no. has been disconnected = it makes me a little worry about buying from them. Any commentson this.

I wouldn't deal with any business that didn't have a working phone number and live person on the other end.

I did my tach with an electronic kit and had no problems. I don't remember who I got the tach kit from though.

Looks like you are looking at the stuff offered by Real Time Engineering. I repaired my tach with one of their kits about 20 years ago.

I don't see a phone number on their website, but there are some email addresses listed.
