Restored column for 70 E-body with manual steering.
- NOS 70 E-body only turn signal switch
- NOS ignition switch, electrical part
- Original matte finish ignition lock, keyed to match door cylinders
- NOS door lock cylinders. Will have to reuse your old lock rod pawls
- Original, tested, key buzzer switch
- Lock out tube stripped and zinc plated with yellow chromate conversion. Plating removed from tube section that is seen and treated with Boe-shield. Little to no pitting that is seen.
- Steering shaft soaked in evaporust and treated with Boe-shield. Only a very light steel wool rub in a couple places. Some of the tooling marks still visible.
- Coupler soaked in evaporust and treated with Boe-shield. Rebuilt
- Original matte finish turn signal lever.
- Column tube, crush can, wire trough and diecast pieces painted with suede finish paint
- Mounting bracket and floor plate painted with gloss black
- Hardware parkerized and oil treated
- Crush can dated 8 20 69, new horn contact
- Foam floor gasket and tube gaskets from Detroit Muscle Technologies
This was a fairly nice column to begin with as evidenced by the condition of the shaft and lock tube. In my opinion this column would be a candidate for installation in an OE level restoration. Let me know if you would like to see pictures of anything else.
