I bought this car around 10 years ago and was going to restore this one to keep. It is an original JS23H2B car! Retired now and going a different direction so this car is up for sale. It is a project car (I restore them for fun) and I already purchased much of what this car needs. I have a new Mopar Authentic Restorations Hood, a new AMD Deck filler panel (Dutchman Panel), a new CML trunk floor, the original numbers 340 block and assembled heads, a 727 transmission (original long gone), the correct distributor, the correct (I think) dual plane intake manifold (3614025), new battery tray and hold down, new water pump, the correct Thermoquad carburetor for a 72 Automatic (6139SA), the original 340 pistons, original oil pump and pick up tube, original timing chain and gears along with the oil slinger, original front cover and damper, original oil pan, original 1972 340 air cleaner with the trap door (getting hard to find these without paying $$$$), extra tail panel with all the lenses, an original (and very expensive) console mounted cassette player/recorder with a NOS microphone, new AMD deck lid, new slap stick shift handle, new Spectra Premium fuel tank, and a set of four sand blasted and epoxy primed 15" x 6 1/2" Rallye Wheels. This car currently has a 318 with A/C backed by a 904 transmission (there is a long story of how it got this engine). I have never heard this 318 run. The car has been stored inside since I purchased it. The interior is in pretty good shape, especially for a 54 year old car. The inside passenger door panel is toast, but I have an extra one that is in pretty good shape. It will need a new headliner and dash pad. Rallye gauges are all there and look pretty good. It had two fender tags and I have both (one is rough and the other one is worse) but still readable. Was originally a A4 Light Gunmetal Metallic. I purchased the car from Alabama so it has some rust but not as bad as northern cars. The car did have the left quarter replaced at some time and it was not the best job, but they did leave enough metal overlap to fix it correctly. I could go on about this car because I really like it and it is tough to sell it, but I also love to bass fish, so there is a tradeoff to be made. Anyway, the car is for sale as is with all the parts I have for it. I have a clean green MI title in my name for the car. Price is $12,500.00 as it sits, where it sits. Please feel free to direct message me with any questions.
