I am starting this thread to document the build I am doing for a close friend and the original owner of this 1973 Dodge Challenger. Jerry bought his Challenger after feeling a little pressure from his coworkers at the Twinsburg, Ohio stamping plant about his Volkswagon Beetle. Jerry actually worked for Chrysler and was part of the original production of his car. He went down to the dealer sat in a Charger and said it felt too big so he tried the Challenger and the rest is history. He had to take the car to a parking lot across the street to get use to it before driving it home, big change from his Beetle. It is a Bright Blue Metallic 318 2 barrel car with a blue interior which he paid about $3000 dollars for. We are doing a couple upgrades to the car ie. a rallye hood and wheels but staying fairly true to its original form.
I'd like to say thanks for all the help I've gotten during this build this forum has saved me. I hope in some way my thread returns the favor. I have a Youtube restoration show and I plan to post the videos relevant to this build as they come, sorry I didn't take many pictures along the way.

— May 28, 2009 — In this episode Jeff puts new floor pans from AMD into the 1973 Dodge Challenger. See the removal of the old floor pans and the fit, prep, and installation of the new AMD pans. Then we catch up a little on the 1972 Dodge Dart as we prepare for a Hughes 3500 stahl converter.

— June 17, 2009 — In this episode Jeffry welds the trunk floor and deck filler in the 1973 Dodge Challenger and removes the right quarter panel. Then we prepare and fit the new trunk drop out and outer wheel well for installation. The 1972 Dodge Dart has it's new 3500 stall converter installed and the body work is done on its right quarter. Alvaro displays his new 30" sanding block from sunchasertools.com on Seth's 1969 Dodge Dart.

The Dodge is going B5 Bright Blue Metallic which is an awesome original color and we love to see the color going down on these cars.
