I have a 340 short block, casting date 9-29-71. It was running in my brother's '81 Mirada. Was told by the previous owner that the engine came from a '72 Cuda.
Chipped 2 pistons. Pulled the engine.
Standard bore.
Asking the ridiculous price of $1400.00. I'd really like to get it back to the original car, if it still exists. Will cut a really nice deal to the owner of that car, if they can prove ownership.
If after a month or so, if no one claims it, I'll bring the price down to something reasonable. Just want the ad to stay up for a while.
Engine ran great. Overheated because of a failed thermostat. We think the excess heat caused the rings to over expand and broke the pistons.
Will post on FABO, also.
