340 Six Pack Cars

I don't check this forum out often as I sold my T/A.

So I'm talking with my buddies and the question came up about 340 6pk ebodies. I say that you could by a 6 pk ebody in 1970 and they say only in a T/A or AAR. I know when I was in high school there was a J code Challenger running around town. Can you all help put this to rest? No, there's no money on it!

340 6 pack available exclusively in TA Challenger or AAR Cuda, 1970 only. Only other 6 packs available were "V" code "440 Six Pack" Challengers or "440 Six Barrel" Cudas, and 1971 was last year for those.

J code 70 cars were all T/As or AARs and will have the A53 Trans Am code on the fender tag and/or broadcast sheet.

and Mr Norm outfitted his 1971 Demon GSS with a 340 6 pack as well.
