WTB 340LA Main Caps, Bolts, Windage Tray & Oil Pan

Hi all, In search of some or all of the following: 340LA Main Caps, Bolts, Windage Tray & Oil Pan.

My block was torn down in 91 for a rebuild when Mt. Pinatubo blew up in the Philippines. I was able to ship my bare block out as a "table" but could not rescue anything else. Been sitting in my garage ever since.

Hoping someone has a fragged 340 block out in the shed they'd be willing to sell the above (and possibly other) parts.

My block is pining to go to the shop, just need the caps to make it worth the trip.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but unless you are lucky beyond belief, the first set of caps will not be a sure thing.
I picked up a standard bore 340 block, and after 6 rear main caps, I found one that could be cut down far enough to line bore.
Then we had to grind the seal groove. The rear main cap that fit the best was off a 318.
The machine shop had to work some magic on the number 3 thrust

Yup.. I am steeling myself for the possibility that finding a set that can be bored to work will be an arduous process. Already pursuing a 360 LA to build while the 340 mopes in the corner.
