Help, I need to know where to cut and weld my new 4 speed hump. I'm going from an auto to manual. I have a 1974 Challenger with a 440 and vintage correct 4 speed. 883?

I did it on a 69 coronet a lot of years back. What I did( if I remember rite)is I installed the trans and cut a small hole for the shifter and put it in. put the hump over it and traced the hump and cut it out.good luck.

I would do what Randra said and I know on my B body the hump fit very well in one particular spot on the pan.
