Any original pics out there of original 340 69 built 4 barrel with v2 compressor ,power steering ,HP manifolds
Painting up the matching numbers engine want to get the paint right
I notice some engines have the fuel pump bare as supplied others are painted.
Were the exhaust manifolds painted or bare cast iron.

Firstly welcome to the site do you have some info about yourself.
Yes there is quite a selection on Bing i have ordered some Eastwood Hemi orange
Will go with Dave Walden's from ECS 340 Cuda Engine i guess the 70 Challenger would be the same.

Street Hemi Orange was used on the 70 and 71's which is a darker orange that the Race Hemi Orange used in the earlier years. In 69 the big blocks used the darker orange, not sure about the small blocks. Looks like you have ordered the paint already anyway.

Thanks never heard of race Hemi orange
Block is 3rd quarter 69
I had a look they used that on some of the Aussie blocks as well & carry it locally
