70 challenger se vinyl top moulding position

hi new to this site

need to drill holes for the se vinyl top stanless moulding

does this look right
cant seem to get the moulding closer to the roof rail moulds

I recall mine sit closer together but I am not sure how you can adjust it , I assume you have a new roof panel so maybe it is not perfectly stamped

the roof is original still have the 3 holes on each side
just the rear pannel has been replaced if i get it closer to the roof rails the 2 pieces dont join into each other

Are the trim pieces originals or reproductions?
I have found re-pop stuff is close but not quite right.
