I need to replace the harmonic balancer on my internally balanced 71 340… I would like a OEM replacement and don’t want to throw off the belt alignment. Anybody have a recommendation?

I just put a Powerforce harmonic DAMPER on my 340 with a forged crank (internally balanced). Summit part number PFS-80012. Cost about $120. No belt alignment issues. It's not a Fluid Damper as I would have liked, but based on price and application, this one is better than stock and works nicely, IMO.

You can get your original rebuilt. I used these folks. Reasonable price and quick service.
