I just landed at 71 383hp that was fully, professionally rebuilt with mild HP parts quite a few years ago. The previous owner says he drove it about 100 miles and decided to go hemi. I know that sounds crazy but this is a very wealthy gentleman and if anyone is truly interested in this engine I will divulge the full story per the PO's request.

Heres what I know right now, more info coming from original local engine builder: 71 383hp from a Challenger. Mild HP rebuild and aprox 100 miles. Comp Cams roller rockers/adjustable push rods. Mopar alum intake, Holley alum 750 vac. New McLeod clutch, plate and flywheel. Dual snorkel air cleaner with 383 4bbl pie tin (tin does have a dent). I was told the alt and V2 compressor are new, not rebuilt.

Have many pics and will provide on request. Will upload a pic soon.

$4400. or best offer. Also consider trade for 408+ cid Mopar small block with forged internals or 360 or 340 with really good heads (I already have J's with decent porting). Must be ready to run and if its worth more I will throw in cash.

Are you in Fredericksburg, VA (that is the 22408 zip code)? I am in the same zip code. If so, message me. I might want to come take a look at this engine.
