71 challenger primary hood latch release latch pictures

would someone be kind enough to post some pictures of their 71 challenger hood latch and release lever pictures for the life of me i can't get it to settle in naturally i hope i didn't blow $100 on the wrong lever thanks guys!

yea i got ripped off on eBay since i didn't have one, i couldn't tell it was not the correct one. i paid for a 71 but received a 72-74. i can fabricate so i just cut the 1 1/4 or so drop out of it and it works great i can finally install the grille and wrap up the front end. just sucks i have to paint it instead of that dipped galvo look. thanks for sending the picture

yea, buyer beware really sucks when it comes to ebay. most sellers outright lie about what the item is, or they are too ignorant to know the difference.

And in some cases, one cannot confirm by the images alone, and have to take a chance.

But I have learned this: if the item is shown to be the right part in the Compatibility section, or if you message the seller and ask, and they say it is, and it later turns out to be wrong, you can file a claim and get your money back. All that data is recorded so ebay staff can confirm it. I've done this maybe three times in the last 6 years.

If the seller makes a claim a part is what you think it is, they are culpable if they are wrong. AS A SELLER, I sometimes find being vague is better than saying too much, to protect myself.
