Sorry for the delay, i didn't catch the question. Yes, it was made from an original Cuda flat hood. Trim ring not installed yet.

only took 11 months but finally have solved the last piece for the engine! should be ready for the dyno next month.

One big step in the project complete. Ran the fresh Hemi on the dyno, peaked out at 585HP. I tried to attach a short video, but guess we can't do that....
Next is new paint and 71 valve covers! Then wait for the car to be painted...

One step closer to having a yellow car again....anticipation is making me wait....

Wow! Your car is coming along great! Just wondering was Curious Yellow the original color? Did you have AMD installation center install the Hemi torque boxes?

The car was Curious Yellow in 1991 when I got it, but it was originally green, amber sherwood I think.

AMD did not put the torque boxes, I had them put in myself.

That's really cool! I love your attention to detail. IIRC these cars had an extra fuel line that goes to the fuel filter. How hard is it to add that? Do you have to get a different fuel tank or a different sending unit?

Not sure on that one yet, will need to cross that bridge during reassembly. Expecting the body back in early August. I am thinking putting it back together will be more fun than tearing it apart...

I agree. it will definitely be more fun to put it back together. Good luck with it. Keep us posted.
