What trans options came in this car ?

Factory. 318 , automatic car , ac , rt style hood , 8 3/4 , front disk brakes

I had assumed it’s 727 but someone telling me they think they had 904 in them. I don’t care what it has but I’d like to know what it’s supposed to have

Weird . It’s fine I don’t repair care but just didn’t realize I though5 8 3/4 cars had 727 that’s all . It’s for sure 904 I went out and checked

Are they all 27 spline ? I’m looking for a new TC

Just a standard 904. the 340 came with the 727.
68-77 904 had 26 spline. 78 had 27 spline and was a lock-up convertor.
