Just a question, Ive seen alot of comments on here stating A-66. What is the A-66 code. Is there anyway to get a fender tag if you dont have one for your car?

A66 is the 340 performance package for the '70 Challenger. Fender tags can be made from a build sheet if you have that but should not be passed off as original. They're just ornaments at that point.

Don't have a build sheet or fender tag but my car is originally a 340 auto on the floor ralleye hood, blacked out grille, so Im just curious if there is any way I can find out if it was/is an A66 car

If it's a '70 Challenger 340 car originally it is most certainly an A66 car. JH23H0?
Shouldn't have a black grille although anything is possible. Unfortunately an accurate fender tag would be impossible. Does it have its original door vin decal? What color combo?

Yes JH23H0. The original door vin decal is there and it is burnt orange with black interior ralley gauges auto on the floor.

The only way you could get a 340 on a 1970 Challenger was to order the A66 package. The 340 was not available on the Challenger R/T. I've owned two of them, a coupe and a convertible.

What's the date on the vin decal? I had a burnt orange A66 project that I wish I could have kept but just knew I wasn't going to be able to get to it. Post up some pics.
