Good evening group. I'm working with a 727 torque flight. It is a true race transmission from Bob Mazzalini Racing in San Bernardino, Ca. Here is the question the trans was built to go behind a 1000+hp Hemi. It now is going into a 514cid 440. I am not using the billet converter the stall speed is too high for the street. My question is this, the 5800 rpm governor counter weight, should I keep it with a 3500rpm stall converter? Or go back to a 340 6pk slap stick trans counter weight? The drive was awsome and a few Hellcats got exorcisms but at 6 miles to the gallon I am done.

Fellow Mopar Nuts, Bob was the first call I made before posting. He was able to tell me who built it for him; however, he has past away. And with his passing all the technical information is gone. Since this posting, I able to get the information needed to "un-mod" the trans and learned a few new things in the process.

I didn't think the governor did anything on a manual valve body, I removed it on mine when I put in a H/D O/P shaft.
