A66 Challenger Registry

I know it’s not an A66 but I also knew that you’d be interested.
Absolutely Thanks:thumbsup:
Accurate production specs for 1971 Challenger convertibles seem hard to find? GG lists hardtops and convertibles together in the white book. With another source, here is what I found;
1971 Challenger convertible numbers guestimated

Short answer, it doesn't exist.

Long answer longer...

1793 V8 71 Challenger Convertibles produced for US sales...

167 383 4bbl, 41 4spd, 126 automatic can be found in a few sources online...

318 and 340 production, not so much...

The numbers below were shared on E-Bodies.org by another member.

Seem credible but would take them with a grain or maybe a bottle of salt... not gospel but the numbers do add up.

167 383 4bbl, 41 4spd, 126 auto

1323 318-2bbl, 93 3spd, 1230 auto

176 340-4bbl, 5 3spd, 45 4spd, 126 auto

127 383-2bbl, auto trans only

RT Convertible was no more in 71, gone with the RT Convertible option were the RT optional Hemi, 440-4 and 440-6 engines...

There are no documented 1971 Hemi, 440-4 or 440-6 Challenger convertibles... At least no documentation I've ever seen or heard of...

Enjoy!
How is your 71 383 vert doing?

Build Sheet for one of the rare A66 convertibles with an automatic trans. Only able to read partial serial number and sequence/order codes. Anyone know of this car! FE5 w H6E4 interior;
