Adhesive for wood grain

Does anyone like a particular chemical something they have had good luck with for bonding the wood grain aluminum to the metal plate that finishes off the rally cluster the 3M spray adhesive did not seem to work came loose after just a few months sitting inside the house almost like it wasnt thick enough perfectly clean surface's ????? thanks for any advise greg

I think a thin layer on each piece of permatex weatherstrip adhesive would be very strong... might be tough to take apart some day.

Get a tube of 3M trim/emblem adhesive. Any part store sould have it. Comes in a large red tube. You "will" have a problem if you ever try to take it apart in the future.

Thanks that sounds like the right stuff maybe in another 45 years she might come loose thanks greg
