I have a 1970 Barracuda 318,with the 727 Trans,and factory cruise control.
It had a two Barrel carb, but I am looking to put an Edelbrock 1405 a top a 1969 340 intake, along wit the 4v Heads and cam upgrade.
I do not need advise about the conversion other than how to connect the Throttle cable and kickdown Linkage.
It will have Hipo exhaust a Column shifter.
I just need to know how to connect the Cables and Trans linkage...and what parts I need..
Thanks...Eric

I have used Lokar’s throttle cable on both a manual trans car and auto trans car. It is a good set up, fully adjustable to ensure full throttle opening.

I have also used their kick down kit, it is also a good kit.

I modified the original linkage a little bit. Wanted to use the factory kick down arrangement. Had to bring the linkage a little higher off the manifold in order to have the throttle cable/kick down rod more inline for smoother operation. Hope this helps.
