For sale a brand new set of 4 brake pads for the 70-74 challenger. Carbotech CT85-XP8. These are for the pin type calipers.

These are XP8 pad material which is really a racing compound, that because they were going on a 24 Hours of Lemons race car. But Carbotech sent us the wrong pads, so these are laying around collecting dust, when they could be in your car helping you stop really fast.
Current market price for these is $175 plus tax and shipping. I'm open to offers, and these are going up on ebay too.

FYI: We ran XP8s on a 72 Valiant 2dr, with the 11.75" rotor brake setup from a 78-79 Dodge Monaco/Chrysler Newport. We could stop as fast or faster than many of the lighter weight cars (also with good pads). So these really work well. We ran one set of pads over about 6-7 races, ~16 hours of endurance road racing for each race and we still have ~1/4 pad depth left on those pads. Rotor wear is minimal, we never replaced a rotor due to wearing down the rotor (we started with used rotors too.). they work good even when cold.

Also you should match these up with really good shoes or pads on your rear brakes or you will not be able to use the full braking capability of these pads.
