Center roof support

While installing the dome light harness I noticed that my center roof support is not attached to the roof skin any longer. Does anyone know what to use to adhere the center roof support to the roof skin? Thanks.

If I remember correctly on mine, it was not attached/adhered. Maybe it just "floats", or I missed that detail. Anyone else?

Ok thank you guys. I'll leave it as is. I took a picture in the 80's and it was pure luck that the roof support was in the picture, but not really in focus. The car was dipped to remove rust so I thought that any adhesive may have been removed during that process.
