1972 Challenger project car, was a 318 2bbl with a manual on the floor, non console, bucket seats, no power options at all. Just your basic entry level Challenger for 72. This car is missing the engine and trans but retains the manual pedals and has had the power steering box added. Still has the 8.75 rear in it. Interior door and rear panels are very nice and can be re-used once cleaned up. Dash will need recovered. Comes with all the headliner bows, a standard dash cluster, A pillar moldings and all the headliner trim, kick panels, front buckets with backs and rear seat. All the glass is there and in good condition, as well as the chrome trim. Some of the bright work will need attention, but is all there. Frame and cowl are solid, just a couple pinholes in the floors, but nothing that would require the floors being replaced. The trunk will need patched. Roof and quarters are still the originals. Front fenders will need help but are workable, if you are going to keep it a 72.
A very solid starting point for a wide range of builds. With a new pair of 70-71 fenders, tail light panel and a rallye hood, it could be made to look like a 70 or 71 easily. This is the kind of car that could be 'optically cloned' into whatever you want it to look like. Its the cheaper alternative to the high dollar, investment grade, non driveable show poodle.
Only difference when you are done is the numbers on the tags and 40 grand.
