Here's one I've not heard of before. Came from the internet and was taken from an Autoweek article. Seems that Chrysler built air raid sirens with inline 8's ( 140 HP ) during the war. They were called Chrysler Bell Victory Siren. In 1952 needing air raid sirens because of the Cold War. Chrysler built sirens with 331 Hemis and called them Chrysler Air Raid Siren. Don Garlits has one in his museum and others have them in collections and a few are still in place being too big to dismantle and move. See, nothing beats a Hemi!!
