I'm freshening the interior of my 71 Challenger convertible with new carpet and cleaning. I've had the car since 1972 and realized I've never had a trunk divider board behind the rear seat. Come to think of it, neither did my 70 R/T convertible that I can remember. I have a new trunk divider board, for another Challenger, but the hook slots at the top are in the wrong spot for a convertible. I guess it wouldn't hurt to put one in to cut down on some noise but the top well certainly let's in a lot of noise from the trunk anyway. Has anyone else with a convertible put a trunk divider board in? Did your car originally come with one? Putting one in doesn't change originality as it is easily removed. It looks like the hardtop one may need some trimming to fit. I may be overthinking this.

Agree, as you mentioned, the top well let's in noise, but the divider with some jute sound deadener will definitely help! Plus the divider makes it look "cleaner".
