They light up the same surface area, why the extra bulb on rally light bar? Also I'm installing Dakota digital gauges, does it matter if i use a non rally light bar? Last question, does the light bar install first ?
Thanks in advance

Aren't the Dakota gauges backlit? Probably don't want external light on them?
You could probably use either standard or ralley.
I always thought the ralley bar had 4 lights because of the 4 large gauge pods.
Many moons ago on my first car, converted to ralley, and kept the 3 light bar.
I didn’t know any better, and it was fine.
Light bar is the last thing to go on. Start with std, change if you don't like it.

Thanks for the info. The Dakota gauges are backlit. Is the switch panel lite by the light bar? Do I need at least one bulb on the left side to light up the switch panel? Sorry for all the questions, I am brand new to the challenger world and I bought the car in pieces.

The Rallye cluster has four big gauges and need a bulb for each. The standard gauge just has the monster speedometer and smaller gauges with the one on the right black unless you have a clock there which 85% or more didn't. So there bulbs (cheaper to make) works just fine. Actually the three bulb standard light bar works pretty well with the Rallye cluster. It's even better with brighter LED bulbs. There's a thread on this somewhere. (Sigh, searching and computers are not my cup of tea. We all have our limits.)
