Floor Thickness

Hi just wondering if some one could tell me what the thickness of the steel is on floor on 73 Barracuda as i want to fill the holes instead of plastic grommets.

I would guess 20 or 22 gauge. Can you mic it? 20 ga. is .035; 22 ga. is .029 thousandths. AMD lists their floor pans at 21 ga. (probably metric in reality).
Idea: gap a spark plug at .035, .029, etc, until you find a snug fit on the pan….
