Had some down time at the shop so I made a few parts for my 1971 416 Challenger project. New pistol grip shifter and a couple hood emblems. Have about 40 Hrs in them mostly the hand work, polishing the steel, cutting the walnut grips and fitting everything but it was fun

regards
Jim

I took the 340 emblem off the hood of the Challenger, measured it the best I could with a caliper transferred all the dimensions into Autocad and drew it up. Took forever to write the program. I am an old school guy, write all my cnc programs by hand. Going to polish it and then send it to the plater and have the four barrel part red anodized and chrome plate the 416, then paint everything else black

I would buy a couple of emblems like that for my car . I know they will not be cheap. If you might be able to make me 2 for the hood (I will give you what cid to use) for under $300.00 that would be soooo cool.
